In this plan
Purpose, Prevention & Protection
- I know this condition irritates wrist tendons where two tendon groups cross on the thumb side of my forearm.
- I know repeated wrist motion from rowing, lifting, skiing, racquet sports, or work can trigger it.
- I know pain is usually a few inches above my wrist and may worsen when I lift my wrist or thumb.
- I protect the tendons by reducing painful repeated wrist motion while keeping safe movement.
