   Prevention & Protection

   • I get Flublok to help prevent flu and severe illness. It uses lab-made flu proteins, contains no eggs, and cannot give me flu.
   • I use Flublok at age 9 or older. At 65+, it is one of 3 preferred flu shots. No one of those 3 is preferred over the others.
   • I report severe allergy to Flublok or its parts. A severe reaction to another flu vaccine needs my team's review first.
   • I flag immune drugs, blood thinners, bleeding problems, and past fainting.
